The GIRLZ had a busy Saturday performing first at Cape Coral Relay for Life, and then competing in the Cape Coral Cardboard Boat Regatta.

Since 2006 Calendar Girls have proudly sponsored Paws for Patriots guide dogs for American veterans through Southeastern Guide Dogs in Palmetto, Florida. The Paws for Patriots program pairs impeccably trained guide dogs with visually impaired veterans restoring the respect, dignity and independent lifestyle they deserve.
We are PROUD of our efforts for veterans. Call us whistling women and crowing hens. On June 11 Southwest Florida’s FLAGSHIP dance team visited the campus of SEGD. What makes us so great? We include the key element of sponsoring guide dogs for veterans.

This is where young puppies are introduced to different surfaces that they may encounter during their lives with their handler.
Along with the Southwest Florida Puppy Raiser Group, the Calendar Girls raised funds for the upcoming Southeastern Guide Dogs Fort Myers Walkathon on April 9th at JetBlue.
From 8 am to 10 am, March 5,
the girls serve 100 flap jack to help raise fund .
such a success, hopefully there will be many more!
The calendar girls were very busy in 2015.
The group is now up to 30 members. They have performed to support our veterans by providing both guide dogs and service dogs through the Southeastern Guide Dog School.
They have also performed to support other community agencies in addition to events supporting our first responders.

Puppy Raiser day at Southeastern Guide Dogs is a very special day.
On this day, the puppy raiser gets to meet the very special person who will be the handler of the guide dog they raised up.
